iReady Inform
What is i-Ready?
i-Ready is an online program that will help us determine your student’s strengths and areas for growth, personalize their learning, and monitor their progress throughout the school year. To begin, we’ll be administering the i-Ready Inform™*. It’s critical that students try their best so we can get accurate data that will help inform our instruction and drive the online lessons students receive.
The i-Ready Inform™* assessment is an adaptive assessment that adjusts its questions to suit your student’s instructional level, giving teachers the data they need to best support each student’s learning. Each item a student sees is individualized based on their answer to the previous question. For example, a series of correct answers will result in slightly harder questions, while a series of incorrect answers will yield slightly easier questions.
What can I do to help?
To help prepare your student for the i-Ready Inform assessment, encourage them to:
- Get a good night’s sleep and eat a full breakfast the day of the assessment.
- Try their best on each question and try not to rush.
- Try not to worry about questions to which they do not know the answers.
- Be respectful of other students who take longer to finish.
- Use paper and pencil to show work for math questions.
What happens next?
The i-Ready Inform will provide results that help the teachers identify your student’s strengths and determine next steps for instruction. We look forward to sharing these results with you throughout the year and providing a learning experience that will engage your student while teaching important skills and concepts.

- Dormir bien y tomar un desayuno completo el día de la evaluación.

- Tratar de no preocuparse por las preguntas cuyas respuestas desconoce.
- Ser respetuoso con los demás estudiantes que tarden más tiempo en terminar.
